OLD BUSINESS:

Memberships: Membership forms received from Sunday Jan shoot missing.

Jeanette has some original forms from the Saturday and those emailed in and re-filled out. Jeanette will formulate a member list and database on what is known.

Steve M suggested making a laminated list to post on the white board with current members, such that memberships could be verified when seeing persons on range not recognized.

Steve Seals suggested having a receipt book with carbons such that membership dues could be better tracked, especially when paid in cash.

Steve Seals stated that gate codes should not be given until full membership paid – no partials. List of members also will be sent by Jeanette to Steve Milewski.

Motion made by Steve Seals to accept Augie Trevino as a charter paid member. Seconded by Eugene Skinner. Motion passed. Augie Trevino to be a charter member.

Targets: New blob targets to by purchased and picked up by Steve Seals. 40x40 ten plus one. Discussion took place on how to set up for stability. Rebar suggested.

Art Brown has target cores 10 to 12 for 55.00 each. To be picked up in Paris by Steve Seals.

Land owner: Ms. Stroup passed away. Steve Seals attended funeral. According to son, things with range space will stay the same including verbal lease and price. Steve Milewski suggested getting lease in writing.

NEW BUSINESS:

ASA paperwork: Steve M reports that ASA paperwork and memberships submitted. Many board members stated they had already received their cards.

Old targets: It was suggested by Wayne Muir that old targets be auctioned off for $30 each to raise capital.

In picking up new targets, Steve S will need help.

Concessions: At last shoot no monies were taken for concessions. Charles A put out a donation jar. People just donated funds. Charles states that we came out ahead on monies. Steve Milewski agreed that since no food was sold, the liability for serving goes away. All agreed this was great plan for future shoots.

T.H.E. Deerman: is the next shoot, the second leg in “triple crown” 3-24 and 3-25 with 1100 AM start. Target set up will be Saturday at 7: 30 AM. Wayne states that no prep of ground needed, in good shape. Charles suggested having them shoot up the road and back like the previous Deerman. Practice range to be closed once tournament starts. Charles will tweek the route slightly.

Jeanette will be out of town (birthday weekend)

Charles will again do concessions. Wayne will purchase meat, hotlinks, hot dogs, bread, water and cokes. We have condiments. Will get new box of chips and box of candy.

Meeting adjourned at 7:45 PM
